The Canadian Finance and Leasing Association and its over 260 members. Contains searchable information about members. Guidelines for consumer car leasing. Notwithstanding member only pages - a useful site.

Globe   & Mail Canada's original National Daily. Getting better all the time. This is also an excellent site with related sites providing career opportunities, mutual fund and stock tracking. Good for 10 viisits a month more frequent use requires a subscription

ELFA is the  largest US Lessors Association. Site is mostly for members but provides a link to its "Foundation" which is more informative for non members.

SEDAR Canadian Securities Commission. Provides comprehensive filing data on most Cdn public Cos. Actual filing are in  PDF (Acrobat) format. So simply save to disk or use Acrobat to open and print or read.

Great International finance website EuroMoney focusing naturally on Europe!

Edgar Massive site run by US SEC. Contains all filings for public Cos in US. Also contains quite a few Canadian filings where the security is also being "flogged" in the US. Note downloads can be 100 pages + . You may wish to try Edgarscan

Current PPSA Legislation for all Provinces.  We p[reviously had a link to plain language on the various Provincial  legislation. Till we find such a link Wikopedia will have to do! Sorry!  Bottom line for any lender/Lessor in Canada is if you do not register your security interest under the respective legislation you have little  if any right to recover the secured/owned asset in the event of distress. For aircraft and marine vessels  it also advisable to register under Transport Canada

Statscan is the prime source for Government of Canada date and statistics. Much is free some is fee based..

The CPA is the new integrated body for chartered accountants, general accountants management accountants etc. Site provides links to these respective bodies and through them to extensive ruling information on accounting treatment

Canada - Access to Federal and various Provincial Government sites. Recent Supreme court decisions etc.
